Qbi Devlog Update 7/17/25
Hello!
It has been quite a while since the last update. For the last 8 months I had a 9-to-5, so there wasn't much time and energy to keep consistently working on this game. But I persevered and managed to squeeze in an hour or two most days, so the next level is near completion. However, as of writing this post, I have been mass-layoff'd, so this update is mostly focused on bugs I managed to find and squish while working on the new level.
CHANGE LOG

P.S.: If any hiring manager or video game industry professional is reading this...
Hi! My name is Nikola Kuzmanovic and I am a game designer specializing in level design, system design and gameplay programming.
I'm highly experienced with the Unity engine, where I am currently making this very game. 7 levels, over 200 assets, more than 25 tilemaps, 20+ behaviour trees for enemies and bosses alike; all designed and programmed by me.
During my time at Metropolitan University in Belgrade (2017-2022), majoring in Game Development, I worked on multiple game projects focusing on different aspects of the game-making process, from programming through art to game design. In addition, I worked alongside my game programming professor on the creation of a new curriculum for the Intro To Game Development course. This new programme teaches Unity's visual scripting tools (instead of GameMaker Studio) to freshmen via a sample project, and has so far helped over 100 college students start their game development journey.
From 2024 until... the moment I sat down to write this post, I worked at Replai, a production company focused on making ads for mobile games and apps. While involved with the company as a Junior Creative Producer, my team and I worked in Unity to create some of the best-performing ads for a high-profile mobile game, netting the company millions of dollars.
If this pitch sounds compelling, I look forward to hearing from you! Here are my Linkedin and itch.io profiles.
And please, if any other folks from Replai apply at your companies, offer them an interview too. We are all capable of so much more than what we did there :)
